2nd Shift Hybrid Supervisor 

Monday-Friday & Saturday

2pm-10pm Job Requirements: 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Weekend availability
  • Minimum 1 year experience in management and office skills.
  • Minimum 2 years in Armed Security, Law enforcement and/ or military preferred.
  • Multi-tasking and good communication skills preferred.
  • Must have flexibility of scheduling.
  • Maintain CPR and First aid certificate
  • Armed security officer (must pass Armed training, have valid pistol permit).
  • Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards
  • Must have basic computer experience, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 
  • Experience with Win Team and eHub programs.

Job Description: 

  • Shift Captain will physically receive the radio, keys and a briefing from the previous Shift Captain. 
  • Shift Captains will always remain in uniform, to include body armor and weapons. 
  • Shift Captains will check with AAP Central for other incidents that may have occurred. 
  • Shift Captains will login to Officer Reports check reports from the previous day, 
  • Shift Captain for additional information that may require their attention, such as raising or lowering the flags or special events. 
  • The Shift Captain will submit their Shift schedules two weeks in advance 
  • The shift Captain will conduct Quarterly Training Checklist and Quarterly Audits as required by the Security Engineers/Honda Contract.
  • The Shift Captain will inspect their vehicle, 
  • Shift Captain will visit every Post assigned to their shift and physically inspect each officer on their shift to ensure that they are in the proper uniform
  •  Conduct vehicular patrols throughout the campus to include interior and exterior fence, Line 1 and Line 2 Parking Lots and assure that Walking Patrols are being conducted by the Parking Lot Rovers throughout their shift. 
  • The Shift Captain will also inspect both the Associate and Visitor’s Parking Lots checking for safety hazards, parking lot violations, vandalism, theft, or any workplace violence related issues. 
  • The Shift Captain, as a Hybrid Responder, must be familiar with the Honda campus and be able to access and respond to any area in the plant including the emergency operation of the Links.
  • The Shift Captain will assist the PLRs in Line 1 or Line 2, for high-volume traffic. 
  • The Shift Captain will assist the Security Responders with “Walkouts” of terminated or suspended Associates as needed. 
  • Monitor the parking lots for Wrecker Services.
  • Supervise the raising and lowering of the American, Alabama and Honda flags for various holidays and reasons.
  • Set up barricades and provide traffic control for special events, such as the Open House and Annual Honda 5K Run.
  • Interior and Exterior perimeter fence will be inspected by the 1st Shift Captain or the Site Manager daily.

Courtesy Assistance: 

  • Provide assistance and direction to AAP Associates and AAP Visitor’s entering or leaving the property, deterring unauthorized traffic, and redirecting deliveries/vendors as needed. 
  • Provide additional assistance by changing desk locks and calling the Rover for additional assistance such as jump-offs, tire inflation etc. Emergency Escorts and Response:
  • Assist Local Police with any situation in or around the parking lot. 
  • The Shift Captain will assist or have the Parking Lot Rover assist in escorting emergency vehicle’s entering/exiting AAP property 

Responder Hybrids: 

  • The position of Shift Captain now comes with the dual role of a Security Responder Hybrid. On occasions that no SR is on duty such as non-production times, a Shift Captain with fill the role of SR. Hybrids will be armed and train to the same standards as SR’s. The post orders or SOP for SR’s will apply to Hybrids when they fill this role.
