Job Purpose

This position is responsible for leading initiatives that strengthen and expand the performance of the existing business. The Manager oversees the evaluation and enhancement of current operations by analyzing performance data, identifying process inefficiencies, and implementing workflow improvements to drive efficiency, consistency, and customer satisfaction. This role partners cross-functionally to align business processes with strategic objectives, ensuring resources and teams are effectively coordinated to achieve performance targets. Additionally, the position provides strategic insights to senior leadership, driving continuous improvement and long-term growth within the existing business portfolio.

Key Accountabilities
  • Business Process Optimization: Leads the assessment and redesign of business processes to enhance operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability. Oversees workflow analysis and identifies systemic gaps, redundancies, and bottlenecks to improve overall performance.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by developing and implementing process solutions that align with organizational objectives. Promotes innovation and cross-functional collaboration to increase productivity and sustain long-term operational excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to ensure the synergy required to support the business. Provide direction and guidance to teams to ensure process adherence, continuous improvement, and a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Performance Management: Establish clear performance expectations and KPIs aligned with business objectives. Monitors results, identifies improvement areas, and drives actions to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall departmental performance.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Provide direction, coaching, and support to build a high performing, engaged team. Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning through regular feedback, skill development, and career growth opportunities.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience in PS&P Industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing high performance teams.
  • Comprehensive expertise in project management, result tracking, and the formulation of recovery plans and countermeasures.
  • Knowledge of Honda SED processes and Powersports and Power Equipment products.
  • Experience in forecasting and tracking Sales/Production.
  • Demonstrated success in building and nurturing strong internal and external teams

Other Job-Specific Skills:

  • Proficient in using MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a particularly strong proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong Honda systems knowledge including SAP, Document Direct and Business Objects
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must exhibit the capability to effectively manage, inspire and motivate direct reports and associates from other departments, enabling them to reach their maximum potential
