Job Purpose

This position provides aircraft technical assistance and guidance to Honda Aircraft customers and service facilities.

Key Accountabilities

• Serves as technical support subject matter expert.

• Works directly with Honda Aircraft customers and service facilities regarding technical support.

• Maintains the customer database for accurate tracking of all field issues identified and resolved.

• Maintains the reporting database to ensure all requirements are met in accordance with Title 14 Code of Federal Regulation Part 21.3.

• Coordinates instructions for Continued Airworthiness updates based on customer feedback.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Associate’s degree in aviation related field strongly preferred.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Airframe & Powerplant license is strongly preferred

• 10+ years’ experience in the aviation/aerospace industry.

• Experience with Federal Aircraft Regulation Part 145 repair station requirements.

• Technical knowledge in repair inspection methods and repair development in both composite and metal structures.

• Understanding of operations under Federal Aircraft Regulation Parts 91 and 135.

• Familiarity with European Union Aviation Safety Agency and Civil Aviation Authority requirements.

• Ability to read and understand technical documents. (engineering drawings, wire diagrams, logic trees, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Engineering reports)

• Technical knowledge in aircraft electrical and avionic systems

• Technical knowledge in aircraft mechanical systems

Working Conditions

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Some travel may be required
