Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in system safety engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Familiarity with safety standards such as ARP4761, ARP4754A, DO-178C, and DO-254.
  • Experience with safety analysis tools (e.g., Fault Tree+, CAFTA, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with aircraft certification processes.
  • Familiarity with the management of safety requirements in DOORS or similar software.
  • Familiarity with FAA Part 23 airworthiness standards.
  • Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and practices.
