Job description

Providence Extension Ministries (PEM) is searching for its next Executive Director, a leader who can execute vision and operations simultaneously with excellence. This person must be passionate about classical Christian education as the means to perform their primary calling to fulfill the Great Commission (per Jesus in Matthew) and the Cultural Mandate (per Moses in Genesis).

The Executive Director oversees the organizationโ€™s operations, including development, programming, finances, and staff. It also requires someone who can cast compelling vision, build trust with parents and staff by cultivating a team committed to faithfully, respectfully, and lovingly execute the vision. Marked by a warm and compelling leadership style, this person must manage the complexity of a multi-campus organization and stay close enough to the details to catch problems before they become crises. This leader naturally draws others in, fostering a spirit of collaboration and joyful pursuit of the mission.

The right person will be rare. They will be deeply rooted in biblical faith, experienced leading complex organizations, comfortable with ambiguity, and genuinely passionate about classical Christian education and the homeschool family, free of government involvement.
