Project Manager - Luxury Custom Homes

Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Projects throughout El Paso County and Douglas County)

Murphy's Custom Homes is a luxury custom home builder based in Colorado Springs, CO, specializing in high-end residential construction throughout El Paso County and Douglas County. For more than 20 years, we have built a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship, professionalism, client relationships, and attention to detail. Our custom homes are thoughtfully built, highly detailed, and designed to create an exceptional client experience from start to finish.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee luxury custom home projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, ethical, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced custom residential environment. The right candidate will take ownership of schedules, subcontractor coordination, jobsite quality, communication, documentation, and overall project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage luxury custom home projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, schedules, and project timelines
  • Maintain project budgets, schedules, documentation, and updates through Buildertrend
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits and quality control inspections
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, trade partners, vendors, and internal team members
  • Review plans, specifications, selections, allowances, and change orders
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues before they become larger problems
  • Ensure each home meets Murphy's high standards for craftsmanship, organization, safety, and client experience
  • Keep jobsites clean, professional, organized, and moving forward

Qualifications

  • 3-7+ years of construction project management experience preferred
  • Luxury residential or custom home experience strongly preferred
  • Buildertrend experience preferred, but training may be provided for the right candidate
  • Strong computer and technology skills required
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, clients, and project details independently
  • High level of honesty, integrity, professionalism, and accountability
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
  • Pre-employment or periodic drug screening may be required in accordance with company policy and applicable law

  • Starting salary: $90,000-$120,000, based on experience
