Peraton is hiring a Senior Business Development Director to grow our DHS footprint - someone who knows the components, the competitors, and the cadence of how work actually gets shaped inside DHS. Qualifications What You Bring: Must-Haves * 18+ years of related work experience, including 5+ years in business development, capture, or technical/engineering solutions focused on DHS - specifically Headquarters and CBP - and other federal agencies
* Demonstrated track record of successful pursuits in excess of $100M
* A successful track record supporting and winning contracts across DHS organizations and the broader federal civilian community
* Current, broad market relationships and proven success building partnerships with strategic teaming partners (prime and sub)
* Matured key relationships across DHS and other federal government agencies
* Ability to think strategically and operate independently
* Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer and partner meetings and conferences
* A highly effective communicator equally at home with executives, program managers, and federal customers
* U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearanceNice-to-Haves * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field

This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
