Basic Functionsย 

The primary responsibility of the New Home Sales Internet Specialist is to generate new home sales through internet leads. This position initiates contact to leads received from internet sources, aids in qualifying the lead, scheduling on-siteย or virtual appointment with a New Home Specialist, and follow up, to produce new home sales. This is a work-from-homeย positionย and it reports to the Internet Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, Division Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, or their designee. Must be local toย Charlotteย area.ย 

Scopeย 

The New Home Sales Internet Specialist will:ย 

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of the Real Estate industry, the residential home-building process, and adhere to fair housing laws.

  2. Be able to effectively interact with customers via phone call, email, and text messaging; effectively communicate with Real Estate Brokers, companyย personnelย and industry peers;ย 

  3. Independentlyย assistย customers inย identifyingย company products for purchase.ย 

  4. Demonstrate a working knowledge of personal computer skills including office software programs (preferable MS Office Suites), Internet,ย PowerBIย and Salesforce.ย 

  5. Be capable of managing tight deadlines, promptly addressing changes without disrupting schedules, and managing high volumes of work with minimal direct supervision.ย 

  6. Forty (40) Hour workweek will include Saturday and Sunday. Two consecutive days off during the week.ย 

  7. Demonstrateย abilityย to work flexibly among at least eight or more divisions toย assistย management in all sales initiatives and marketing events, asย deemedย necessary.ย 

Major Duties and Responsibilitiesย 

  • Report to the Internet Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, Division Sales Manager, Division President, or their designeeย in order toย receive instructions toย assistย with administration duties within the sales department.ย 

  • Gather and disburse internet leads from the Companyโ€™s website inย a timelyย fashion (with goal to respond withinย 15 minutes)ย 

  • Responding inย a timelyย fashion to internet prospect requests that come through search engines associated with Eastwood Homes website, to include email contact through an Eastwood Homes email address, email campaigns (e-blasts) through Sales Simplicity, and phone contact through Eastwood Homes mobile phone.ย 

  • Setting-upย scheduled appointments to Eastwoodย Homesย model homes for the purpose of a home purchase.ย 

  • Corresponding with On-site New Home Specialists to follow-up and set appointments.ย 

  • Periodically meet with Sales Managers of Eastwood Homes to evaluate the leadย generationย and appointmentย setting, (at minimum attend the monthly Sales Meetingsย at the beginning of each month).ย 

  • Generate adequate sales and closing volume(s) to consistentlyย maintainย or exceed company standard sales performance and customer satisfaction ratings.ย 

  • Gather,ย analyzeย and periodically update necessary market research, competitive and market analysis for product and pricing strategies for Marketing Manager.ย 

  • Participate in professional sales training and attend company training meetings and/or classes asย required. Develop and train as requested by Division Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, or their designee, and provide ongoing support and guidance to New Home Sales Specialists.ย 

  • Employee must be a standard-bearer of the Eastwood buyingย experience, andย must be proficient in the understanding and operation of the touch back rule, contract completion process and procedures, inventory home guidelines, mail away policy and procedure, and missing items policy compliance.ย 

  • Foster an ongoing environment of teamwork and collaboration between all Company personnel and disciplinesย focusingย all actionsย towardย meeting Companyย objectives.ย 

  • Develop andย maintainย a quiet, professional,ย organizedย and safe work environment at all times.ย 

  • Other Duties as Assignedย ย 

Qualificationsย 

  • Must be able to have a flexible work schedule. Position will work five days a week, including weekends.ย Daysย off will be two consecutive weekdays.ย 

  • Must haveย great communicationย and phone skills.ย 

  • Must be able to manage time independently and respond toย requestย quickly and efficiently.ย 

  • Must be highly motivated and able to work with little direction.ย 

  • Experience in New Home Sales is strongly preferred.ย 

  • Idealย candidateย would be knowledgeable in Real Estate.ย 

  • Mustย be located inย the Charlotte areaย
