Lutheran Services in Iowa currently seeks a (full time/part time) Bilingual Caseworker for Post Release Services and Home Studies in the Siouxland area.What You'll DoThe Caseworker is responsible for Post Release Services (PRS) and Home Studies for Unaccompanied Children (UC) and families. Our Caseworkers are responsible for helping children and families with resource referrals, community connections, and case management services while utilizing trauma informed care throughout service provision. In this role, our Caseworkers...Effectively write and execute home studies while working with immigrant populationsFacilitate the reunification process by conducting culturally sensitive home studies, assessments, referrals, and case management servicesPerform resource referrals, community connections, and case management services while utilizing trauma informed care throughout service provision May serve as interpreter when language skills are applicable for case services May work evening and weekend hours by appointment or assignment What You'll NeedBachelor's degree in human services field and one year of full-time human services experience. Must read, write and speak English and Spanish fluently.
