TruBlue Home Service Ally is a nationally recognized home service franchise with more than 120 locations across the United States. We specialize in professional handyman services, home maintenance, home renovations, and safety and accessibility modifications that help seniors age in place and support busy families.
We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Home Service Technician to join our growing Phoenix team. This is a senior-level field position for a highly skilled craftsman who can lead projects, mentor technicians, solve problems independently, and deliver exceptional workmanship across multiple trades.
Our work goes beyond traditional handyman services. We help homeowners improve safety, accessibility, functionality, and quality of life through professional home service solutions and aging-in-place modifications.
What You'll Do
  • Perform advanced carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general home repairs
  • Lead and execute home modification projects for seniors and individuals with mobility challenges
  • Install grab bars, handrails, ramps, doorway modifications, cabinetry, trim, doors, and other accessibility solutions
  • Manage projects from start to finish while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Mentor and assist junior technicians when assigned
  • Identify project challenges and proactively develop solutions in the field
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, caregivers, vendors, and office staff
  • Document work, photos, notes, materials, and job updates using Housecall Pro and related systems
  • Assist with job scoping, estimating, material planning, and project recommendations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
  • Represent TruBlue as a trusted advisor and home service professional

Who You Are
  • 10+ years of professional experience in residential construction, remodeling, handyman services, or home maintenance
  • Strong carpentry skills with experience in trim, doors, framing, cabinetry, and finish work
  • Proficient in plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repair work
  • Experience leading projects and working independently without supervision
  • Comfortable interacting directly with homeowners and managing customer expectations
  • Experience with aging-in-place modifications, accessibility solutions, or senior-focused services is highly preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience using service management software such as Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceTitan, or similar platforms
  • Familiar with job costing, estimating, material planning, and project documentation
  • Owns professional-grade tools necessary to perform the work
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Dependable, professional, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
