Position description:

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of our residential home for adults with developmental disabilities. Ensures the welfare of our residents; provides training, education, support, and guidance to the individuals to assist them with daily activities and experience life with dignity and wholeness. Supervises and directs the work of the Direct Support Professional team.       #GWELD

Full time Day shift - Flexible schedule

Duties:

  • Manages the home in adherence to all Federal, State, and local guidelines.
  • Monitors the safety and health needs of the individuals we serve.
  • Interviews, orients, trains, and monitors job performance of the Direct Support Professionals 
  • Ensures equitable coverage
  • Provides contact with the home through cell phone
  • Ensures household groceries and supplies for the home
  • Maintains financial records of individuals and stays within budget in all areas

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have 2 years management experience 
  • At least two years DD residential experience 
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License with good driving record 
  • 18 years of age or older
