Job Description:
As an Apprentice Electrician, you’ll learn the foundational pieces of performing electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance. You’ll receive training on how to wire new homes as well as assist on service calls, allowing you experience in interacting with homeowners. This role offers on the job, hands on training, empowering you to build a lasting career in the electrical field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insure all electric is installed per plan and code
  • Ask questions to determine severity of electrical problem
  • Choose an array of tools and materials according to the repair work that needs to be done
  • Confer with customers to determine their electrical repair needs
  • Read and interpret blueprints and cabinet details to insure correct location of electrical
  • Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems
  • Replace faulty wires and parts and ensure that the new ones are in proper working order
  • Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets
  • Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections

Job Requirements
  • Valid US Driver's License with clean driving history
  • Current TDLR Apprentice Electrician License
  • Possess and maintain required tools
  • Willing to undergo a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
  • Must be able to provide work authorization documents upon hire
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Must meet company driving and insurability requirements for operating company vehicles
