We work with families and their loved one’s doctor and other health care providers to build a care plan that will meet their needs.

ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a Full Time Field Nurse RN. The successful candidate will support Sussex Count, DE specifically inGeorgetown, Lewes, Rehoboth; work day shift hours, one weekend a month, 2 holidays a year, and 2 on-call shifts each month.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document clinical assessments of patients at time of admission only; no revisits or med/surg evaluations.
  • Precept other nurses who are taking on some admission duties.
  • Initiates and participates in team meetings and/or independently collaborates in interdisciplinary discussions regarding patient care or practice.
  • Enhances professional growth by staying current in clinical practice. Incorporating research into practice and participating in councils/committees/task forces.

Requirements:

  • BSN required; ADN candidates are required to acquire their Bachelors of Science, Nursing Degree (BSN), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.
  • OASIS proficiency required; acquire OASIS certification within 18 months of start date.
  • IV proficient or willing to train, and achieve proficiency within 3 months of start date.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
