JOB SUMMARY

Are you a natural leader who loves helping people while getting things done right? As our Assistant Banking Center Manager, you'll be the right hand to our Banking Center Manager through leading a team, growing customer relationships, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to make an impact in their community and build toward the next step in a banking career.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT BANKING CENTER MANAGER
  • Support development of the banking center team. Supports Banking Center Manager in leading, coaching, and motivating Senior Universal and Universal Bankers, reinforces service standards, and helps each team member grow toward their goals. 
  • Drive business development and deepen relationships. Connects with customers to understand their financial needs, recommends the right solutions, and supports sales campaigns and referral efforts that fuel branch growth.
  • Deliver a standout customer experience. Builds loyalty and trust through consistent, high-quality service that keeps customers coming back.
  • Keep operations running smoothly. Assists with staffing, scheduling, workflow management, operational approvals, balancing oversight, and daily operational administration. Ensures compliance with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and related anti-money laundering laws and regulations; and federal consumer protection legislation and regulations.
  • Step up when it counts. Serves as the go-to leader for banking center operations, decisions, and team direction whenever the banking center manager is out or unavailable.
  • Represent the bank in your community. Represents the bank professionally within the community and support community engagement initiatives as needed.
ABOUT YOUYou'll need:
  • An Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in retail banking, financial services, sales, or banking center operations
  • Strong skills in leadership, coaching, customer relationships management, operational management, and business development. 
  • Knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services 
  • Digital banking and technology proficiency
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Operational, compliance, and risk management knowledge
  • Proficiency with banking systems and Microsoft Office
