How much do home depot delivery jobs pay per hour?

As of Jul 30, 2026, the average hourly pay for home depot delivery in the United States is $46.36, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $20.43 and $60.58 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What delivery company does Home Depot use?

Home Depot delivery services are primarily handled by third-party logistics companies such as XPO Logistics and Roadie, depending on the delivery type and location. Delivery associates may also use company-provided trucks or partner carriers to complete orders efficiently.

What is the highest paid delivery driver?

The highest paid delivery drivers typically earn over $25 per hour, with some specialized or experienced drivers making $30 or more hourly. Factors influencing pay include location, delivery volume, experience, and whether they work for major retailers like Home Depot or through third-party platforms. Senior or specialized drivers with additional skills or certifications can earn higher wages and tips.

Can you make $30 an hour at Home Depot?

Home Depot delivery associates typically earn around minimum wage to $15 per hour, with some roles or overtime potentially reaching higher pay, but $30 an hour is generally not standard for this position. Advanced roles or specialized positions may offer higher wages, but entry-level delivery jobs usually do not reach that rate. Skills such as operating delivery equipment and customer service are important for higher-paying opportunities within the company.

What does a typical workday look like for a Home Depot Delivery associate?

A typical day for a Home Depot Delivery associate involves loading products onto delivery vehicles, driving to customers’ homes or businesses, unloading and sometimes assembling items, and confirming deliveries with proper documentation. You may also communicate with customers to confirm delivery windows and handle any minor issues onsite. Most associates work independently but stay in close contact with their dispatch team and store staff to coordinate schedules and handle any changes. The role can be physically demanding and involves working in various weather conditions, but it offers variety and the opportunity to interact directly with customers every day. This position provides valuable experience in logistics and customer service, with potential for advancement into supervisory or specialized roles within the company.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Home Depot Delivery position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Home Depot Delivery associate, you need a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and basic knowledge of safe material handling and delivery procedures. Familiarity with handheld delivery tracking devices, GPS navigation systems, and sometimes forklift certifications are often necessary. Strong customer service skills, time management, and reliability set top performers apart in this role. These abilities ensure timely and safe deliveries, support positive customer experiences, and maintain Home Depot's reputation for service excellence.

What is a Home Depot Delivery job?

A Home Depot Delivery job involves transporting products from Home Depot stores or distribution centers to customers' homes or job sites. Responsibilities may include loading and unloading goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. Depending on the role, you may drive a company vehicle or work with third-party delivery services. Some positions require a commercial driver's license (CDL), while others may involve smaller truck or van deliveries.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

Home Depot delivery roles typically do not pay $2000 weekly; earnings depend on hours worked, delivery volume, and tips. To reach higher income levels, drivers often work full-time, optimize routes, and gain experience, but most delivery jobs pay hourly or per delivery rates that may not reach that amount consistently. Additional skills like efficient navigation and customer service can improve earnings, but high weekly income usually requires multiple jobs or side gigs.
