Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and create tailored treatment plans following physician referrals.
• Implement diverse therapeutic methodologies and interventions in patient homes, including hands-on techniques, exercise prescriptions, and mobility assessments.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers about rehabilitation procedures and activities to promote healing and maintenance of health.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, building rapport and trust with patients to enhance their recovery experience.
• Participate actively in ongoing team meetings to discuss patient progress and optimize treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, treatment outcomes, and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Achieve performance-based goals related to patient utilization and overall practice objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist role at Kinetics will involve treating a diverse range of patient populations, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and pediatric ailments. You will encounter patients of varying ages and backgrounds, which will provide a rich experience in adapting treatment techniques to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (APTA or CAPTE approved).
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring that you meet local regulatory requirements.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized organization.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective patient and team interactions.
• Strong organizational skills with proficiency in electronic documentation and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated ability to establish meaningful relationships with patients, enhancing their motivation to achieve functional goals.
• Experience in home care settings is preferred but not required; openness to learn and adapt to community-based practices is essential.
• Background in working with multi-disciplinary teams aimed at improving patient outcomes through collaborative care.

Compensation and Benefits
