Location: Hybrid - 4 days onsite. Jersey City, NJ
Job Description:
Job Description and Role Expectations
We are seeking an experienced ACBS Configuration Specialist to support our Banking & Financial Services consulting practice. The ideal candidate brings hands-on configuration and implementation experience with the Advanced Commercial Banking System (ACBS) and has a strong background working within FIS Professional Services or similar enterprise banking technology environments.
This role sits at the intersection of business requirements and technical configuration, working closely with client stakeholders, business analysts, and technology teams to deliver conversion of loan portfolio from existing loan servicing system to ACBS as the target servicing application.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Lead and execute end-to-end ACBS system configuration activities including loan setup, fee structures, interest calculations, covenant tracking, and facility management
โ€ข Translate business and functional requirements into ACBS configuration specifications
โ€ข Collaborate with FIS support teams and client SMEs to resolve configuration issues and ensure system alignment with business processes
โ€ข Perform system testing, UAT support, and defect resolution related to ACBS configurations
โ€ข Document configuration decisions, change logs, and technical specifications
โ€ข Support data migration and conversion activities related to ACBS implementations
โ€ข Participate in client workshops and requirement-gathering sessions
โ€ข Provide knowledge transfer and training to client teams on ACBS configuration best practices
โ€ข Work across multiple workstreams in an agile or structured project delivery environment
Required Skills & Experience
โ€ข 5+ years of hands-on experience with ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System)
โ€ข Strong understanding of commercial lending, loan lifecycle management, and syndicated loan processing
โ€ข Prior experience working within or alongside FIS Professional Services - either as an FIS employee, contractor, or client-side counterpart
โ€ข Proficiency in ACBS modules including loan origination, servicing, fees, interest, and reporting
โ€ข Experience working with business analysts and functional leads to translate requirements into system configurations
โ€ข Strong documentation and communication skills
โ€ข Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
โ€ข LANSA Developer experience within the ACBS environment - ability to build or modify LANSA-based screens, reports, and business logic within ACBS
โ€ข Familiarity with ACBS customization and extension using LANSA RPG-based development
โ€ข Experience with data migration, conversion scripts, or interface development in ACBS
โ€ข Knowledge of FIS ACBS hosted or on-premise deployment models
โ€ข Exposure to SQL, DB2, or AS400/iSeries environments commonly used with ACBS
Preferred Background
โ€ข Previous employment or contracting with FIS Professional Services delivery teams
โ€ข Experience on large-scale ACBS implementation or upgrade programs at Tier 1 or Tier 2 banks
โ€ข Exposure to commercial real estate lending, C&I lending, or syndicated loan platforms
