Ortho Check Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our home care team in the vibrant community of West McLean, Virginia. This role is primarily onsite, as you will be traveling to patients' homes in West McLean and neighboring areas. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, utilizing a range of techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and equipment assistance.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary based on their responses and recovery goals.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on appropriate techniques and tools to facilitate self-care and mobility improvements, ensuring a strong support network outside of therapy sessions.
• Stay updated with the latest advances in physical therapy practices by engaging in professional development opportunities, such as workshops and seminars.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients, ensuring all aspects of their recovery are addressed.

This role focuses on a varied patient population, including children, adults, and the elderly with diverse needs ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. You will be responsible for providing empathetic and effective therapy solutions designed to improve functional mobility and overall quality of life for your patients.

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, preferably in home care.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling clear and effective interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software tools for documenting patient care efficiently.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to working with patients in various home environments.

• Previous experience in home health care is highly desirable, allowing for a smoother transition into our practice's operational model.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and treatment equipment used in home care settings.
• Participation in community outreach programs or wellness initiatives that enhance patient engagement and education.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including:
