Upstream Musculoskeletal Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Ashburn, Virginia. This role is an onsite position, primarily conducted in patients' homes across Ashburn and the surrounding areas. You will have the opportunity to work in various settings, allowing you to adapt your therapeutic techniques to the unique environment of each patient. • Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions in a home care environment, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing an array of therapeutic methods, including exercises, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation equipment to manage pain and advance mobility.
• Continuously assess patient progress, documenting treatment effectiveness while adjusting therapy plans accordingly to meet therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, care, and the use of assistive devices to enhance self-care and facilitate a greater degree of independence.
• Stay updated on the latest in physical therapy practices through workshops, professional literature, and active participation in community and professional organizations.

You will work with a diverse population, including children and adults facing a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal issues. Your expertise will be crucial for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic conditions, ensuring they receive the most appropriate and effective rehabilitation tailored to their unique situations.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current, valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear dialogue with patients and families.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and other computer systems relevant to the role.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate adaptability in a home care setting.

• While prior experience in physical therapy is valuable, newly graduated therapists are encouraged to apply, as mentorship and training will be provided.
• Experience in home health care or outpatient orthopedic settings is a plus, but not required.
