Ortho Check Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist for a full-time position based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Leesburg, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, contributing significantly to their rehabilitation journeys.

Work Environment

This role is set in our welcoming and dynamic Rehabilitation Center, equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic tools. Teamwork and collaboration are key components of our work culture, where professionals support each other to ensure the highest standard of care. Our typical working hours are Monday through Friday, from either 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Ortho Check, you will:

• Evaluate, assess, and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions effecting mobility and function.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic approaches, including exercise, hands-on therapy, and equipment usage.
• Document and track each patient’s treatment response and progress accurately.
• Reassess patient conditions and adapt treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
• Recommend and fit patients with assistive devices when needed, providing essential education on their use.
• Provide training to patients and their families on effective home care practices and safety protocols.
• Stay updated with industry developments by participating in workshops, reviewing literature, and engaging with professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes children and adults of all ages facing a variety of conditions including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, sports injuries, and orthopedic issues. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping these individuals regain their strength, mobility, and independence.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years’ practical experience in a clinical setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills and word processing applications.
• A flexible approach to working in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience

While prior specific experience in our specialized care environment is not mandatory, candidates with backgrounds in rehabilitation, manual therapy techniques, or pediatric physical therapy may be favored. New graduates dedicated to providing high-quality care and willing to learn will also be considered, as we offer mentorship for recent graduates.

Compensation and Benefits

Ortho Check Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
