Occupational Therapist - Mind&Mobility

Location: Medicare Part B visits- Boca Raton/ Palm Beach County PRN

Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Pay: $70-$75/ visit

Position Summary:

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home care for Medicare Part B patients. Help patients improve daily living skills, regain independence, and enhance their quality of life-all from the comfort of their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients in their homes and create personalized therapy plans.
  • Provide skilled interventions to improve daily living skills and independence.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on safety, exercises, and adaptive strategies.
  • Document progress and ensure compliance with Medicare Part B regulations.
  • Collaborate with the home health/ therapy team to coordinate patient care.
  • Adjust treatments based on patient progress and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in home health or outpatient therapy preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Part B documentation and regulations.
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and patient education skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible, home-based schedule.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills.
  • CPR and other relevant certifications as required.
