Job description

D&D HOME REMODELING is a family-owned design-build residential remodeling company focused on kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home renovations, additions, and ADUs. Our work centers on turning design concepts into thoughtful, buildable spaces for homeowners, with an emphasis on quality, detail, and close collaboration throughout the remodeling process.

As a Drafter, you will play an important role in translating project vision into clear, accurate construction documents that support successful execution. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, values precision, and can collaborate effectively with design, project, and field teams to keep projects moving from concept through permitting and construction.

Responsibilities
  • Revise drafting sets based on designer, client, and field team feedback.
  • Create detailed construction drawings for residential remodeling and addition projects.
  • Coordinate plans with project managers, estimators, and permitting requirements.
  • Prepare floor plans, elevations, and detail drawings for buildable designs.
  • Maintain accurate drawing files, revisions, and documentation across multiple projects.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of drafting experience in residential remodeling or construction environments.
  • Experience producing permit-ready construction drawings for remodeling and addition projects.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software for residential plans.
  • Strong knowledge of residential building codes, construction detailing, and dimensions.
  • Experience coordinating revisions with designers, project managers, and field teams.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
