Registered Nurse - RN - Inpatient Unit - Per Diem (7am-7pm)

A compassionate and dedicated jobseeker is needed for the Hospice Nurse opportunity with our company! As a Hospice Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality, expert care of your assigned hospice patients.

What You'll Do:

  • Assess patient and family educational needs and provides appropriate education
  • Applies nursing principles and techniques in the treatment of patients, providing nursing care, emotional support and education to patient and family
  • Initiate interdisciplinary plan of care to address PFC needs
  • Provides safe and appropriate patient care in accordance with protocols, policies, procedures and physician orders
  • Manages medications according to standards
  • Responds appropriately in emergency situations
  • Implements, evaluates and revises the plan of care and directs other in its implementation
  • Provides or facilitates the provision of emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families
  • Participates in the orientation of new employees
  • Provides supervision of all CHHA and Volunteers

What You'll Bring to Our Team:

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
  • NJ RN license required; BSN preferred
  • IV and Medical Surgical Experience required
  • Hospice experience preferred
  • Bilingual is a plus!
