Capstone Mind Wellness & Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team in working closely with students in a school-based environment. This position offers the advantage of remote work, allowing you to interact with students via telehealth platforms in a way that accommodates both their needs and schedules. You will have the flexibility to conduct sessions from your home office while staying connected with your team and school staff to ensure a support network for your clients. Some evening and weekend hours are required to effectively accommodate students’ schedules, making this a flexible yet impactful role.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to gain an in-depth understanding of clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and resources.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Implement therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy, ensuring evidence-based practices are at the forefront.
• Develop, monitor, and revise individualized treatment plans, clearly outlining treatment goals and available interventions to foster growth and recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, school personnel, and other health professionals to ensure coordinated care for students.
• Offer crisis intervention and safety planning to attend to urgent mental health needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that adheres to ethical and legal standards, reinforcing accountability and transparency.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, fostering a sense of community among participants.

This position focuses on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues that may impede their academic and social success. You will work with diverse populations, including students from various cultural backgrounds, ensuring that interventions are sensitive and responsive to each client's unique context.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably with experience in a school-based context.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and practice improvement.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, with an ability to engage clients effectively and sensitively.

• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in school settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms to streamline patient care and documentation processes.
• Proficiency in applying various therapeutic models tailored specifically for younger populations, emphasizing adaptability in treatment approaches.
