Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, utilizing standardized tools to understand clients' mental health challenges, and developing tailored treatment plans based on their individual needs.
• Deliver individualized therapy sessions through various modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based practices tailored to promote client growth.
• Set therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients, continuously monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to facilitate optimal progress and outcomes.
• Provide teletherapy sessions to clients who require virtual support due to personal preference or accessibility issues, ensuring they receive comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely client documentation in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards, thereby reflecting our commitment to professionalism and accountability.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a mental health counselor at Calm Oasis, you will work with a diverse population of clients dealing with various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• A valid license in the state of Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to create an engaging and therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude are essential in supporting clients effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage caseloads efficiently and meet administrative requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a wide range of mental health disorders in a clinical or private practice setting.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and virtual therapy methodologies.
• Familiarity with community resources to make appropriate referrals for clients as needed.
