We have developed and implemented predictive machine learning algorithms in hospitals that are used to detect deadly conditions and improve care outcomes. We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as we build and transform our company. We need a skilled engineer to integrate our products with new hospital systems. Electronic health record systems are notoriously complex and varied, so we need a detail-oriented individual who is up for the challenge of ensuring a high quality of data collection.

You will use a custom Python-based macro system and write HTML, text, and OCR parsers to interface with it. OCR and web-scraping experience required. This role can be remote. Your presence at our Oakland, CA office location is not a requirement.

Qualifications
  • Scripting Languages: Python
  • Scripting & Automation Deliverables: Web Scraping
  • Experience with Tesseract OCR
