Work Environment

In this remote position, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide vital mental health services within the context of an educational environment. Our practice operates Monday through Saturday, allowing for flexible scheduling options that cater to your personal and professional commitments. The supportive administration will assist you with in-house credentialing, insurance participation, and client scheduling, enabling you to focus on delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individual students, families, and groups, ensuring a thorough understanding of their mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, employing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Participate actively in the interdisciplinary care team, communicating effectively with staff in meetings to discuss patient progress and modifications to care plans.
  • Provide case management for clients, collaborating with community resources and professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
  • Ensure timely and ethical documentation in line with departmental standards, maintaining up-to-date records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students within the school system, catering to a diverse range of mental health needs and challenges. You will support children and adolescents who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, family issues, social pressures, or behavioral concerns. Your role is pivotal in promoting their mental health and improving their overall school experience.

Qualifications
  • A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals in a therapeutic setting, preferably with children and adolescents.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, necessary for working within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in school-based therapy or working with educational professionals.
  • Familiarity with the specific mental health challenges faced by adolescents, including trauma-informed care approaches.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $104,000, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
