Their poles are utilized in transmission, distribution, substation, and communication applications, offering a lighter, more durable, and longer-lasting alternative to wood, steel, and concrete. Since 2003, their poles have served over 500 customers across 30 countries.

Headquartered in Canada, they operate globally, with manufacturing facilities in Tilbury, Ontario; St. George, Utah; and Houston, Texas, ensuring worldwide distribution of their ultra-resilient poles. Position Overview: Reporting directly to the IT Director, they are seeking a Power BI Developer responsible for transforming raw business data into interactive dashboards, reports, and insights that support decision-making across the organization.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our mission while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Gather and translate business requirements into technical BI solutions Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports Build and maintain data models (star schema, semantic models) Connect and integrate multiple data sources (ERP, CRM, APIs, databases) Use DAX and Power Query for calculations and data transformation Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security (row-level security, access control) Optimize performance of reports and datasets Collaborate with stakeholders (IT, business leaders, analysts) Document solutions and provide user training/support Maintain and enhance existing dashboards and reporting platforms Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field Experience with BI tools (Power BI preferred) Power BI (Desktop & Service) DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) Power Query (M language) SQL & data querying Data modeling & warehousing concepts Integration with tools like: ERP systems (e.g., Epicor), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), SharePoint / cloud data sources Understanding of APIs and data pipelines Microsoft certifications (nice to have): Power BI Data Analyst Associate Understanding and translating technical concepts to non-technical information and audiences

Strong analytical mind, eye for detail and problem-solving skill; drive for automation and simplification. Business acumen (understanding KPIs, operations, finance, etc.) Attention to detail and data accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
