Pharmacy Technician

Location: San Antonio

Job Type: Full time 

  • Weekly Bonus Opportunity - Earn Up to an Extra $400/Week!

In addition to your base pay, we offer a performance-based weekly bonus

That can add up to $400 per week - the equivalent of $10 more per hour based on a standard 40-hour week!

Company Overview:
Stonegate Pharmacy is a leading provider of pharmaceutical care, dedicated to enhancing patient health through comprehensive medication management and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy operations and delivering quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and assist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

    • ssist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • M
    • aintain proper inventory levels, including receiving and checking in pharmaceutical supplies.
  • M
    • anage medication storage and organization to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • P
    • rocess prescription orders, including entering information into the pharmacy software system and verifying insurance coverage.
  • P
    • rovide information and counseling to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements as directed by the pharmacist.
  • R
    • espond to patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • P
    • erform routine administrative tasks, such as managing pharmacy records and maintaining patient confidentiality.

    • ollaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients.

    • xecute other duties as assigned by the supervising pharmacist or pharmacy manager.

    Qualifications:

    • igh school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician program is preferred.

    • alid Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or equivalent) required or in the process of obtaining.

    • revious experience in a pharmacy setting is a plus.

    • trong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

    • bility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

    • roficient in using pharmacy software and technology.

    • xcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
