Description
Position Overview
Under the direction of the Vice President, the Inside Sales and Operations Coordinator is someone who performs and oversees a variety of account coordinating duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. This includes account creation, order processing, providing tracking and eta, in addition to misc. other support tasks. This position will require heavy use of Microsoft Office and SAP. This is a non-supervisory position. Fluency in Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, or Vietnamese is preferred.
Responsibilities
Direct Sales Customer Relations
• Follow order management process
• Assist with maintaining Sales Force Data Base
• Seek, promote, generate, and communicate potential sales leads to outside sales staff
• Assist in scheduling, organizing, and attending tradeshows
• Assist in maintaining showroom
• Collaborate with Sales Team on the following:
o Conduct weekly call with Sales Reps to review open orders
o Processing credit cards to release sales orders
o Obtaining credit application and credit card auth forms
o Obtaining tax exempt certificates
o Shipping and installation information
o Creating new quotes and updating existing ones
o Assisting with paperwork and tracking
o Become an additional contact for direct customer sales
o Assist Sales Reps with scheduling additional meetings
Dealer Sales
• Maintain dealer information data base
• Process dealer purchase orders
Operations
• Ensure timely delivery of all outbound shipments and troubleshoot any problematic deliveries.
• Review freight invoicing for billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate and schedule pickups/deliveries.
• Coordinate and monitor international container and air shipments in conjunction w/ Sr Sales Mgr.
General Sales Support
• Cross train with Inside Sales Coordinators for coverage
• Assist and complete special projects as required
• Assist with customer visits to corporate offices or dealer meetings
• Communicate effectively and often with sales team, customers and all internal departments
Management Support
• Assist in analytics, reporting, forecasting, and other related tasks.
Maintain Work Practices:
• All paperwork and database entries filled out completely and accurately
• Maintain work area to 5S standards as posted in work area
• Maintains a professional image by projecting a positive and professional demeanor to all internal and external contacts
Marginal Job Functions:
• Follow all related SOP's
• Other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
Requirements
Education:
• Associate degree or combination of equivalent of education and experience preferred
• Associate's degree in business, Marketing or related field preferred
Experience:
• Previous history in Lead Generation, Inside Sales and/or Sales Support preferred
• 2 years of experience in Administrative Support preferred.
• Previous history of working with operations and logistics preferred.
• Previous experience with face-to-face contact with wellness customers (business to business and/or end user)
Other Requirements:
• Fluency in Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, or Vietnamese is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, SAP
• Occasional domestic travel will be required
• Valid driver's license is required
