  • Back up peers across territories as needed
  • Execute established performance management standards.
  • Provide HR presence during acquisitions as needed, supporting onboarding and transition needs.
  • Support execution of company HR initiatives (e.g., open enrollment, wellness events, contests, annual merit cycle) through communication, logistics, and field leader follow-up.
  • Travel as needed, up to ~25% with overnights, for field support, investigations, acquisitions, and meetings.

Success Metrics

  • Compliance execution: 100% of local HR tasks (reviews, PIPs, investigations) executed accurately and on time.
  • Acquisition support: 100% of assigned follow-up tasks completed within 30 days when engaged by the HR Integration Partner or HRBP.
  • Company initiative execution: 100% of assigned sites complete HR program requirements (OE, merit, wellness, contests) on time.
  • Leader partnership: = 90% of managers report HRG as responsive and effective in supporting team member inquiries and needs.
  • Capability growth: Demonstrated year-over-year expansion of responsibilities toward independent HR case handling, investigations, and acquisition support.

  • Reduces compliance risk by following HR policy and labor standards.
  • Adds acquisition integration capacity without added headcount.

  • Reduces hiring cost and risk by building an internal pipeline for Senior HR Generalist roles.

Capabilities & Strengths

  • Developing Judgment: Recognizes when a matter falls within standard case-handling versus when it needs escalation; growing independent decision-making under guidance.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Works effectively with peer HR Generalists and the Senior HRG/HRBP, communicates clearly, and maintains confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive matters.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of HR experience, including employee relations, performance management, and HR documentation in field-based or multi-location settings.
  • Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and HR practices for assigned territory.
