Job description

Physicians Choice Home Health is recruiting for a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our Home Healthcare Team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality home health visits to our patients in the comfort of their home. You will be joining a team of compassionate and dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to providing the highest level of care to our patients.

We are recruiting for healthcare professionals that want the chance to really own their work and have a say in the organization where they work.

The primary function of the CHHA is to provide personal healthcare and related services as an extension of nursing or therapy services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment; work cooperatively with the patient, caregiver(s), and family; and share observations and problems with the supervisor.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing hands-on personal care including the following:

  • Bathing and Hygiene Hair and Nail Care
  • Assist with Ambulation and Transfers Dressing
  • Assist with elimination Linen Change
  • Range of Motion Light Meal Preparation
  • Light housekeeping pertaining to the patient/client
  • Reporting on the patient's condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse
  • Adhering to the Apollo documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct

Requirements

  • Current California Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification, in compliance with applicable federal and state requirements
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written care instructions and accurately document services provided
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to travel to patients' homes
  • Experience in Home Healthcare

Benefits

Rates

$21-35/hour. W-2 Clinicians are also eligible for mileage reimbursement and cellular device reimbursement.

Salary Range Disclaimer: The rates listed represent the low and high end of the range for this position. Visit and reimbursement rates vary based on visit type and employment status (1099 or W2). Rates may be adjusted in the future, and employees will be notified of these changes.
