  • Drive the entire product lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring compliance with technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
  • Conduct simulations, modeling, and testing to validate designs and optimize performance.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks while ensuring the successful delivery of high-value end products.
  • Support proposal development and provide technical expertise in business development efforts.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, including design, analysis, and systems integration.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar) and engineering analysis tools.
  • Experience with structural analysis, thermal analysis, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with aerospace, defense, and/or hypersonic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in DoD or aerospace programs, including work with agencies such as DARPA, NASA, Army, Navy, Air Force, MDA, or National Labs.
  • Knowledge of advanced materials, composites, additive manufacturing, and thermal protection systems.
  • Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and ASME standards.
  • Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.
  • Proven experience in proposal development, technical writing, and securing new business opportunities.
