Job description

Job Title: Emergency Call Center Analyst/Dispatcher - 01-5429


Operations Analyst I


Must be Local. On-site, no remote - Rotating shifts


Rotating Shift Work / 8 week schedule - Weekend and Holidays availability as this is a 24X7 emergency call center


Overtime is required for this position. Weather situations dictate overtime as well as having to fill vacant shifts to ensure staffing levels are adequate.


High Level Project Overview: Gathers and analyzes customer calls and various computer data to determine location and cause of power outages. Efficiently dispatches first response personnel and repair crews to provide quick and logical response to outages and emergency situations. Performs callouts in ARCOS for service restoration, emergencies, planned overtime, and fill-shifts..


Top must have skill sets

1) multi-tasking (handling changing priorities constantly)

2) computer based skills (all Windows applications, typing, etc.)

3) good customer service skills (talking to customers)

4) data analysis (review multiple information sources to determine appropriate action)

**Problem resolution & analytical thinking


Nice to have skill sets

o Dispatch skills (call centers, 911 operations centers, utilities, etc.)


Soft skill requirements

o Looking for energetic and personable candidates who have a good customer service personality that can talk with customers and field workers all day with a good attitude even during stressful or busy times. Being coachable/trainable because there is so much to learn with this position.


Education

o High School Graduate / GED


Any 911 dispatch centers, Utility Dispatch, call center customer service is helpful.


Location = Herndon, VA

Rate = $23-$28/hr

Length = 1+ Years W2 Contract - Possible long term/extension for the right candidate
