Job description

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Biller to join their team in a high-volume claims environment. The primary responsibilities include PBM billing, claim adjudication, managing authorizations, and processing co-pays while verifying eligibility. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate billing and maintaining client satisfaction within our client's pharmacy facilities.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
  • PBM billing (not major medical)
  • Work with extremely high volume claims
  • Claim adjudication
  • Manage authorizations and prior authorization process
  • Collect co-pays
  • Verify eligibility

Skills
  • Home Infusion or Specialty Pharmacy RCM Background - collector, biller, authorizations, pharmacy technician
  • Must understand Prior Authorizations
  • Ability to manage the full life cycle of a prior authorization process
  • Proficiency in claim adjudication
  • Preferred experience with CPR+ or CareTend EMR

Schedule / Shift
M-F, 8am-5pm

  • Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).

  • 401k (Eligible on the first 401k open enrollment date following 6 consecutive months on assignment. 401k Open Enrollment dates are 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, and 10/1).
