This position is based inSanta Monica. Duties: Build a work program within current markets and evaluate/expand into new markets that will help diversify and stabilize company growth/ future stability Take responsibility for the administrative aspects of assigned projects including issuing contracts, interfacing with the owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors, processing change orders, billings, submittals, clarifications and other required items Assume cost management control of assigned projects. Ensure that estimated budgets are optimized, track actual costs, project future costs, and impact day-to-day activities to maximize project fees where possible Direct, supervise and mentor project management and field supervisory personnel under your authority to ensure timely completion of projects per the contract documents and growth/competency of employee skills Build a work program and a team of managers within and outside current EHCC markets to increase annual construction revenues Assist estimating when possible in the development of new estimates, subcontractor solicitation and bid day compilation support. Depending on project assignments, develop and/or oversee development of pre-construction budgets and constructability reviews for negotiated, lease-leaseback, design-build and construction management projects Requirements: 12 years of Commercial and/or Public Works experience managing construction projects of increasing complexity required.

Graduates of a four-year degree program in construction management, construction science, or other industry-related degree programs are preferred. Knowledgeable about current construction methods, materials, and regulations. Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.

Must have good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Excellent computer skills a must. Knowledge of Primavera scheduling software and Oracle Contract Manager a plus.
