Job description

As a Drafter/Designer, you will translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and plans, utilizing Autodesk Inventor software with Vault Library. This role demands a high level of proficiency in Inventor and CAD, a strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce detailed technical drawings and plans, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings based on design specifications and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand design concepts, address design challenges, and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Review and modify existing drawings, revising and updating them based on feedback to ensure all changes are accurately reflected in the final documents.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations, adhering to industry standards and relevant regulations in all drafting work.
  • Mentor and guide junior drafters, providing technical guidance and support while sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, ensuring all drawings, files, and revisions are accurately stored and readily accessible.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
