Vaughn Industries, LLC is looking for an innovative and motivated VDC Inventor Detailer to join our growing Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Department.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the rapidly growing world of 3D modeling, digital design, prefabrication, and construction technology while working on substations, transmission systems, and renewable energy projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a VDC Inventor Detailer, you'll help transform engineering concepts into accurate, detailed 3D models and construction drawings that support fabrication and field installation.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Model parts and equipment for substations, transmission, and renewable energy projects.
  • Collaborate with the Utility VDC Coordination Team to create and coordinate 3D models.
  • Prepare fabrication and installation drawings for construction and prefabrication.
  • Generate detailed installation drawings for field and prefabrication personnel.
  • Assist with identifying and resolving design and constructability challenges.
  • Develop your technical and VDC skills with the goal of advancing into a VDC Utility Coordinator role.
