Shift: 5 am to 1:30 pm w/flexibility for OT and some Saturday's

Site Overview:

Our West Chicago, IL facility is a nonunion/union manufacturing plant with approximately 200 employees. The site specializes in producing polyurethane foam and other foam products. As a key location within FXI's manufacturing network, the Corry plant is known for its strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence. Team members work in a collaborative, supportive environment where continuous improvement and innovation play a central role.

Job Overview:

A Spotter is responsible for observing work activities and identifying potential safety hazards to help prevent accidents and injuries. They provide guidance to equipment operators and workers during lifting, moving, or high-risk tasks. Spotters maintain clear communication, ensure compliance with safety procedures, and help create a safe working environment. They also report unsafe conditions and support overall site safety efforts. Drives trucks or tractors at vehicle parking or loading docking area in order to move, position or park trailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Drives trucks around dock area for Transportation Company or department
• Spots (positions) loaded or unloaded trailers at assigned docks for unloading or loading using tractor
• Connects loaded trailers to tractors for delivery drivers
• Fuels tractors
• Assists workers in loading and unloading truck and trailers
• Maintains truck in proper working condition
• Other duties, as assigned

Skills / Qualifications:

• Able to read, write and speak English
• Able to sit for 8 hours
• Able to lift and carry 70lbs
• Must have a valid and clear driving record
• Must pass a DOT Physical
