We are seeking a Spiritual Counselor who provides inspirational support, recognizing the worth, value, and respect of the deeper being within each person. This role supports emotional and psychological therapies, teaching clients how to empower themselves and bring what they want and desire into their lives, independent of religious affiliation or preferences.
Position: Spiritual Counselor (Part Time and Full Time Position Available)
Location: In-Person, Port Hueneme, California
Duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Provide individual and group sessions
  • Preform spiritual assessments to identify clients' needs, concerns, and opportunities for spiritual growth
  • Work with the clients to co-create tailored practices, including compassionate self-forgiveness, affirmations, yin/yang breathing, awareness meditation, and journaling
  • Actively participate in the multi-disciplinary team process by providing and sharing with the Clinical Director and other team members information that contributes to/positively impacts the overall plan of treatment for the client
  • Adhere to the documentation guidelines set forth by Passages

Additional Qualifications:
  • Accredited certificate from a Spiritual Therapy institution required; Masters in Depth Psychology preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Must fulfill pre-employment conditions: tuberculosis screening (annually thereafter), background check (including criminal and driving record check), drug screening, and reference checks. Ongoing monitoring and screenings during employment in accordance with the law and company policy.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet 24/7/365 healthcare facility needs
