ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele

Schedule

Nights - 12 hours: 7 PM to 7 AM. 36 and 48 hours per week available. Requires 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Med/Tele department. The unit has 43 beds and provides care to patients with cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate should be flexible according to the facility's needs and willing to float to other units if required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Med/Tele unit.
  • Monitor patient status and provide necessary interventions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting software.
  • Participate in charge nurse duties as needed after training.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele
  • Two years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
  • Active NY RN license
  • AHA BLS certification
Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position, requiring at least one holiday shift as part of the contract.
