Job description

Electrical Assembler (Systems Integration)
Location: Elgin, IL
We’re looking for an SI Assembler to build and test large systems in a special part of our manufacturing facility. You’ll work with both a team and independently, handling a mix of hands-on and seated tasks.
Shift: 1st Shift, 6:15 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $18/hr


Main Duties
  • Assemble and mount parts on large racks (using tools and ladders up to 9 ft)
  • Install and route cables between racks
  • Build and label cables, seated for this task (about 40 sets a day)
  • Lift up to 50 lbs by yourself (team lift for heavier items)
  • Follow detailed instructions and diagrams

Requirements
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs (team help for heavier items)
  • Can work standing, walking, and on ladders
  • Good attention to detail and manual skills
  • Steel-toed shoes required
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus
  • Soldering experience is helpful
