Job description

Front Desk Agent
Responsibilities include:
  • Welcome guests during check-in and check-out with a friendly, professional attitude.
  • Answer phones and assist with reservations, questions, and guest requests.
  • Process reservations, payments, and guest transactions accurately.
  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain accurate records using Opera PMS and other hotel systems.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
  • Share recommendations for local restaurants, attractions, and events.
  • Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and guest-ready.
  • Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and IHG brand standards.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred (3 to 6 months).
  • Friendly, dependable, and professional with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn hotel systems.

Physical Requirements
This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and climbing stairs throughout the shift. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
