Position Summary:
The Housekeeping Inspector is key to attaining our goals of Quality, Service Standards, particularly in reaching the standard of a "clean, crisp property where everything works." The Housekeeping Inspector takes charge of all components of hotel cleanliness.
Core Responsibilities:
● Maintain superior cleanliness levels in all guest rooms, public areas, and employee areas.
● Meet or exceed all productivity and expense levels as set forth in the budget process.
● Ensure that all Housekeeping Personnel are trained in the company-approved programs.
● Ensure that all department employees are treated to the fair and appropriate application of all company policies and procedures.
● Assist in the championing of the Company Mission Statement and Hotel Mission Statement with key emphasis on Superior Guest Service and Product Quality as described in "Our Quality Pledge and Standards of Service.”
● Maintain an open and professional approach towards fellow managers and their departments.
Qualifications:
● Experience: A minimum of two years of experience as a Housekeeper at a 100-plus-room property
● Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Basic Experience:
● Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
● "Guest First/Service" Approach
● Strong organizational skills
● Experience working in a fast-paced environment
● Morning, Evening, Holidays, and Weekend availability is required
