Job description

The Three Rivers Aces are seeking motivated individuals to join our organization as Corporate Partnerships & Ticket Sales Representatives.


This role will focus on generating revenue and building relationships throughout the Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania business community through corporate sponsorships, partnerships, ticket sales, group outings, and other revenue opportunities.


As a member of the Aces' business development efforts, you will represent a growing semi-professional hockey organization while developing relationships with local businesses, organizations, community groups, and hockey fans.


Responsibilities
  • Identify and prospect potential corporate sponsors and business partners
  • Conduct outreach through phone, email, social media, networking, and direct business-to-business communication
  • Present Three Rivers Aces sponsorship and advertising opportunities to prospective partners
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional businesses
  • Generate ticket revenue through individual, group, corporate, and organizational sales
  • Identify opportunities for group outings, company events, client entertainment, and other ticket packages
  • Follow up with prospective partners and maintain an organized sales pipeline
  • Assist in moving sponsorship opportunities from initial contact through agreement
  • Coordinate with Aces leadership to ensure sold sponsorship assets and partnerships are properly communicated and fulfilled
  • Represent the Three Rivers Aces professionally within the local business and hockey communities
  • Assist with additional revenue-generating opportunities and organizational initiatives as the Aces continue to grow
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Comfortable communicating with business owners, decision-makers, and potential customers
  • Confident with outbound sales and relationship building
  • Self-motivated and capable of developing their own leads
  • Organized and consistent with follow-up
  • Professional and comfortable representing the Three Rivers Aces brand
  • Interested in sports, hockey, sales, marketing, or business development
  • Experience in sales or business development is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
Position Structure

This position is structured as an independent contractor (1099) opportunity with the Three Rivers Aces.


Compensation: Commission-based, with a standard commission of 10โ€“15% of collected sales. Commission structure may vary based on experience, type of sale, and partnership opportunity.


This role provides an opportunity to work in sports business while directly contributing to the growth of a developing semi-professional hockey organization.
