Job description

Hively Landscapes, established in 1968, is a reputable full-service landscaping contractor known for its commitment to honesty, integrity, and excellence. We specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of residential landscapes. We are seeking dedicated Landscaping Crew Leaders to join our team in a role that offers stability, professional growth, and a collaborative work environment. As a Crew Leader, you will oversee daily landscaping operations, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction while embodying our core values. Every project we take on is a reflection of our core values: honesty, integrity, value, loyalty, and putting people first.
The schedule is Monday-Friday with weekend availability and a daily start time of 6:45am. The shift is approximately 8-10+ hours per day.Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a landscaping crew, delegating tasks and ensuring accountability for job quality and execution.
  • Utilize landscape software on a tablet to plan daily activities, manage time and materials, and load necessary tools and equipment.
  • Travel to and from job sites using our modern fleet of vehicles.
  • Perform various landscaping services, including mulching, planting, pruning, gardening, weeding, and seasonal cleanups.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct basic maintenance on equipment and ensure its proper care.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to commute to the office location daily.
  • Prior professional landscaping experience is required.
  • Strong teamwork and open communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take direction.
  • Ability to pass the U.S. Department of Transportation physical and random drug & alcohol testing.
  • Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs., bend, twist, kneel, and work with hand tools and small power tools.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, wet, and dry environments.
