AP Specialist / Accounting Clerk – Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire | South Orange County, CA

A growing property management company in South Orange County is hiring an Account Clerk (Accounts Payable / Customer Service Support) to join its accounting team. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and long-term growth.

The ideal candidate has accounts payable experience, strong Excel and computer skills, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Position is open to local candidates within a reaonable a commute to the location.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities – Account Clerk / Accounts Payable

  • Monitor and process batches of chargeable services
  • Review financial records and verify coding accuracy against source documents
  • Prepare and manage invoices and purchase orders
  • Reconcile account statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Review account ledgers for correct coding and extensions
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to correct billing issues
  • Issue checks and assist with payment processing
  • Support accounting team with accrual journal entries
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation and reporting

Qualifications – Accounts Payable Clerk

  • Experience with accounts payable and accounting software
  • Experience with high volume invoicing
  • Experience with processing high volume of POs
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and data entry accuracy
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately
