This role is responsible for handling real estate transactions from open to close while ensuring exceptional customer service, compliance with company policies, and risk mitigation throughout the escrow process.

Responsibilities

  • Open and manage escrow accounts for residential real estate transactions

  • Prepare and process escrow documents in accordance with established policies and procedures

  • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth and timely closings

  • Manage escrow funds and disbursements accurately and securely

  • Review files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance requirements

  • Act as a neutral liaison between all parties involved in the transaction

  • Resolve issues and provide proactive communication throughout the escrow process

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service

  • Provide floating escrow coverage and operational support across Encinitas, Rancho Santa Fe, and Escondido offices

Qualifications

  • Previous Escrow Officer experience required

  • Strong knowledge of escrow procedures, title processes, and real estate transactions

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficient in escrow software systems and Microsoft Office applications

  • California notary preferred

Pay Range: $26.88 - $35.83 HourlyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
