Radiology Technologist (CT Certified) โ€“ Nights

Location: Hopedale
Facility: Hopedale Medical Complex
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 6:00 PM โ€“ 6:00 AM
Start Date: ASAP / Quick Start Available

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Radiology Technologist with CT Certification to join a dedicated Diagnostic Imaging team in Illinois. This role is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and surgical imaging while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, demonstrate strong technical expertise, and maintain professionalism in all patient and team interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and review imaging requisitions for completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain patient safety standards, including proper positioning and use of support/restraint devices when appropriate
  • Evaluate completed imaging studies for technical quality and proper anatomical orientation
  • Document patient information and examination details accurately within the imaging system
  • Support workflow efficiency by prioritizing urgent patient care needs
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Assist with department operations and administrative duties as needed
  • Participate in orientation and training of new staff members
  • Promote a professional and collaborative work environment
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT Certification required
  • Active Illinois Radiology License required
  • CT Certification required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Radiology experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move equipment or supplies as needed
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and assist with patient positioning
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills in a clinical environment
