Position Overview:

You will lead talent acquisition strategy and execution for Polaris' Huntsville manufacturing facility, partnering closely with site leadership to ensure the organization attracts and hires the talent needed to meet operational and workforce objectives. In this role, you will oversee full-cycle recruiting activities across hourly and salaried positions while developing workforce plans, talent pipelines, and recruiting processes that support current and future hiring needs. You will serve as a strategic advisor to Human Resources, Operations, and business leaders by providing labor market insights, recruiting data, and workforce recommendations. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance hiring effectiveness, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction. This is a compelling opportunity to influence workforce strategy, support facility growth, and make a measurable impact on business performance through talent acquisition leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all talent acquisition activities for the Huntsville facility, supporting hourly manufacturing and salaried hiring needs.

  • Partner with site leadership to develop and execute workforce strategies that support production requirements, business objectives, and future growth plans.

  • Develop and implement recruiting plans to meet current and future staffing needs, including large-scale hiring and workforce expansion initiatives.

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities including workforce planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offer management, and onboarding partnership.

  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for manufacturing, skilled trades, engineering, professional, and leadership positions.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to improve selection processes, hiring effectiveness, and recruitment cycle times.

  • Analyze recruiting and workforce data to identify trends, measure performance, and drive process improvements.

  • Establish, monitor, and report on recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, candidate quality, sourcing effectiveness, hiring manager satisfaction, and retention.

  • Lead hiring manager training on interviewing, candidate assessment, and selection best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations as well as company policies and procedures.

  • Develop and manage relationships with external recruiting partners, educational institutions, workforce development organizations, and community groups.

  • Partner with Corporate Talent Acquisition, Talent Operations, and Human Resources Centers of Excellence while providing recruiting updates and workforce insights to site leadership.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive recruiting experience, including experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or high-volume hiring environments.

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing talent acquisition strategies in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience supporting large-scale recruitment initiatives and workforce growth efforts.

  • Strong understanding of workforce planning, labor markets, sourcing strategies, and talent acquisition best practices.

  • Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with operational leaders, site leadership, and Human Resources stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and improve outcomes.

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems; experience with Workday Recruiting is preferred.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience supporting manufacturing expansion or significant workforce scaling efforts is preferred.
