Machine Operator – 1st & 2nd Shift | $17–$19/hr | Denton, TX
Location: Denton, TX
Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Shifts Available:
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 Midnight
About the Role:
Openwork is hiring Machine Operators to join a well-established industrial manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This facility specializes in producing wood reels and packaging materials used in cable and wire transportation. If you enjoy hands-on work and want to be part of a reliable and growing production team, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor wood-processing and reel assembly machinery
  • Set up machines according to product specifications
  • Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards
  • Conduct basic machine maintenance and report issues to the maintenance team
  • Work with wood materials, including cutting, assembling, and inspecting components
  • Keep workstations clean, safe, and organized
  • Follow all company safety and production protocols
Requirements:
  • Must pass a background check
  • E-Verify employer (must be authorized to work in the U.S.)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment is a plus
  • Must have or be willing to purchase steel toe boots
